Treat yourself to a short course that is also a foundation for further studies to become a balanced body qualified instructor. Dr Tanya Cates (phd) accredited Exercise Physiologist and Balanced Body educator will present Movement Principles at das studio Pilates in January 2025!

Movement Principles is a fabulous, interactive practical & theoretical workshop. It is the foundation to the Balanced Body education program and teaches participants how to recognise, improve and teach fundamental movement.
This unit is designed for new and experienced instructors to refine the understanding of the body in motion.
This unit can be applied within in any movement setting.
Movement Principles Includes:
Fivesections: Whole Body Movement, Trunk Integration, Lower Body Training, Upper Body Training, Mobility and Restoration.
Overview of anatomy including bones and joints in specific relationship to movement.
Exercise instruction in foundational exercises applicable in diverse movement and fitness settings.
Detailed, full colour manual and streaming video to enhance your learning “experience”.
Cueing, coaching, and teaching tips.
